Accepting more work than you are capable of managing, due to overconfidence in how much you can do, isn’t wise and could lead to failure. In this case pride will come before a fall. Although there may be a perception of having more strength and resilience, physically and psychologically it won’t last as long as you think it will. Gaining more territory whether it’s literally or metaphorically, is challenging but not impossible. You may have a battle on your hands. Being too proud to ask for guidance from those who have gone before you will be foolish and a waste of the assistance that’s available.

Rebelling against the beliefs of the majority that has been integrated into society will be hard going; even if they are logically proven to be wrong. This is because certain beliefs have been maintained for so long, there will be immense resistance if they’re challenged. Taking control of your finances, especially investments, loans and debts is not necessarily the nicest of experiences. Not doing so could be severely financially destructive; it can’t be ignored. Harsh truths about how much is spent and how big debts have become may be overwhelming; doing nothing will make matters worse. Also wasting money is extremely inadvisable. You will need as much financial reserves as you can build up, so you have freedom from worrying about not having enough to live on if your income suddenly decreases and costs rise.

You could find you’re not in the mood to be restricted and you will find a way to get past anything or anyone who could hold you back. It’s strangely comforting to take the initiative to radically change what you routinely rely upon to provide stability in your life. This probably won’t be outlandish, but it can keep you on your toes. Patience and impatience alternate erratically according to the speed of how people respond to you. Fortunately, this should be well timed, so you can use tactics to do what wasn’t possible for you to do previously. Aggression won’t work but stubbornness and determination will.

The lessons learned during experiences when you were vulnerable were necessary to make you a stronger and more resilient person. It’s time to construct your life into how you want to live. This won’t happen rapidly, but putting together the foundations is a good start for now. Being self-disciplined without punishing yourself, or working too hard is the most productive option to take. If you need to tap into the knowledge of an expert of a particular area, they should be willing to help if they see you would make good use of their assistance. If an individual requires you expertise it will be because you fell an obligation and a duty to offer it to them.

The Sun at 0 degrees 20 minutes Taurus is square Pluto at 0 degrees 20 minutes Aquarius at 4.23 pm GMT 5.23 pm BST 20th April 2023.

Putting a lot of pressure on yourself won’t be as productive as you want it to be. Radical change may be needed, but at the same time you could be more resistant than you thought you would be. Letting go of old habits and methods that you have regularly relied on can no longer serve you as it once did. When confronting people in a position of power and authority, you will certainly struggle to make any progress if both of you are as stubborn as each other. However, it doesn’t mean you should give in. It will test stamina and resistance; you could find hidden strengths that increase your resilience.

Wariness about what is involved in making life altering transformations will be at tough nut to crack. Leaving what has been predictable and had been portrayed as stable, regardless of if it’s for better or worse, will cause apprehension or anxiety about what will happen next. It’s not realistic to be prepared for every eventuality for what is unstoppable and unavoidable. There are big changes ahead that won’t be comfortable and will shake things up. The good news is that it’s unlikely to be a severe as you think it could be.

Chances to escape and take a break for a while, whether it’s for an hour or a holiday should not be pushed away. There is greater sensitivity to what is needed for self-care to build up your energy. If you do feel driven to do what you can to help those who are vulnerable or in need, what you contribute will have a strong emotional impact on those who receive your assistance. Aims and ambitions that have been worked towards for a substantial amount of time may not be brought into reality, because they are no longer fulfilling. This could feel like the moment of enlightenment that is needed.

It will be necessary to take charge and show your strengths when disruption causes plans to go awry and something has to be done to keep to a steady course. The unexpected can test loyalty that others have to you; if it isn’t there when you thought it was it can feel like “the carpet has been pulled from under your feet”. Have courage to step outside of what you would normally do if unsettling events happen. This transit may be tougher on some than for others depending on the ability to adjust to a new normal. Although you may want to stand your ground, it’s best to choose your challenges carefully. There are times when it’s better to swallow your pride and step aside to let trouble pass by.
