The imagination and creative ability are stimulated and can be used effectively. Inspiration may appear from nowhere and productivity that gives a sense of satisfaction can come from this transit. Social encounters with people who are well grounded and ambitious should go well. In relationships there is an increased appreciation for what each person does for the other without the necessity for ground gestures of affection. There is simply a sense of mutual care. Where money and material comfort is concerned, there is a willingness to work or save without wasting money on temporary novelty value in order to obtain what is really desired.

There can be great confidence in what you are capable of doing, but being overoptimistic in what you expect of yourself will lead to exhaustion and a slow recovery. The urge to extend your influence in various directions will only create a lot of work for yourself where there is little success in all that you seek to achieve, because there isn’t enough strength to do everything you want to do. It’s definitely not a good idea to promise more than you can deliver. The phrase “Rome wasn’t built in a day” certainly applies to this transit; take your time.

Mars is conjunction Uranus at 6 degrees 44 minutes Taurus at 8.38 pm GMT 20th January 2021.

Be prepared for sudden events that cause impulsive action to be taken that will completely shake up what was perceived to be stable and secure. Rebellion against limitations that have been put in place for sensible and practical reasons will reach the point of no return, possibly with violent outbursts. This transit can be used constructively to build new foundations to replace structures which were holding back progress. Accidents and infections that have a long lasting effect, or will involve a slow recovery may occur at an increased rate, so take extra care of your physical wellbeing and don’t take any silly risks due to impatience.

Tolerance for current restrictions could reach a breaking point where there may be an urge to make a great bid for freedom. Rationality and judgement of the practical implications of doing so can block this option, which is hard to live with but can prevent unnecessary problems in the future. Widening the horizons of inventiveness and radical changes can be useful to create at least some stability and progress during uncertain and unusual times. What appear to be golden opportunities may suddenly change and not be as positive as they were when they were first encountered. Those with unconventional beliefs could be especially disruptive. They will confront convention and the elements of society that we all rely on. Avoid involvement with these people if you can, because you never know what trouble you could get into without the support you need to get out of it.

Look at what you can achieve if you make the effort to overcome personal limitations, and have enough faith in yourself to initiate a development where you can evolve to become a stronger and more confident person. If you want to start a major process of personal transformation this is the time to put those wheels in motion. Eliminate whatever has a detrimental effect on your self-esteem and physical well-being. Now is not the time to be pessimistic and doubt what you are capable of achieving. With hard work, ambition and perseverance a lot can be achieved.

Venus in Capricorn trine retrograde Uranus in Taurus 14th January 2021.

Venus at 6 degrees 43 minutes Capricorn is trine retrograde Uranus at 6 degrees 43 minutes Taurus at 12.22 am GMT.

Making a break with convention could be just what you need to gain control over what can be done to improve your finances or love life. Cheap and cheerful material possessions may lose their allure; instead quality is sought. If you want to save money for the future to feather your nest, or to have a resource of money to rely on if the unexpected happens now is the time to start. Looking at what you gain from relationships can be used to see what the advantages are and what can be done to stir up some excitement if boredom has set in. This may be taken seriously and any relationships that have little to offer could be pushed aside for those that are more fun and rewarding.

Before you undertake any important tasks you should be prepared to do so at a steady pace and don’t cut corners to try to obtain quick results. Some may find their hard work in projects that have taken up a lot of time and energy will be disrupted by hindrances that are unanticipated. Whilst generally current circumstances are restrictive and do not provide much to be happy about, the only option is to keep going until there is a light at the end of the tunnel. There is a simmering anger at not having the level of freedom that has previously been taken for granted. There is a risk this could build up into a sudden outburst of fury directed at those in a position of control and authority.

How reform and technological advances progress won’t go as quickly as is required. Obstructions which disrupt innovation have to be cleared first. Following a normal schedule will be difficult to the point of being near impossible due to unpredictable events that haven’t necessarily have been planned for. If there is a silver lining for this transit, there can be moments of genius that wouldn’t happen if there were not complications to be resolved or hurdles to leap over. However, getting these ideas and solutions heard and taken into account by others will be a struggle.

Mercury is conjunction Jupiter at 5 degrees 16 minutes Aquarius at 5.20 pm GMT 11th January 2021.

Broadening your understanding of events or current personal circumstances that are very different from what has been encountered before, requires an open mind to what could be considered to be strange ideas. There is a greater interest in a wide range of various opinions and theories that at times may contradict each other. When they are all taken into consideration can help to make sense of unusual incidents. Drawing upon the wisdom of those who are independent or possibly eccentric could be especially important; what they say should not be easily dismissed. Overlooking details is not recommended as this could be vital to avoid a shock in the near future.

Freedom of access to information could be restricted, but this is not necessarily for malicious reasons. It can be for the purpose to make sure it’s accurate and to lower the risk of misinterpretation or panic. Those in a position of authority will have to be innovative in how they communicate and in how they decide to share their knowledge to keep pace with fluctuating circumstances. What they say should be carefully considered to avoid rebellion from those who don’t take kindly to their liberties being restrained. Detailed planning to be prepared for current events that can take unexpected twists and turns is especially important.
